Coriell retires from FBP after 33 years of service

PIKETON, Ohio -- December 14, 2022 -- From uniform to uniform, Ron Coriell has retired after completing 33 years of service. Although his service at the Portsmouth site first started in 1989 with the Security Police Force, he most recently finished a 25-year stint at the Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth (FBP) Fire Station. His retirement party was held at the station on Dec. 8.

FBP President and CEO Greg Wilkett presented him with a farewell plaque and a 70th anniversary coin.

“We are so thankful to our employees for their dedication and years of service,” Wilkett said. “They are an integral part of our success. We wish Ron the very best in his retirement.”

In addition, Coriell was treated to a pizza party and given a sweatshirt from Emergency Services.
Coriell’s goal is to travel, spend time with his and to do the things he hasn’t been able to do until now. Coriell received fond farewell wishes from friends and co-workers while sharing some memorable stories.
