PIKE COUNTY, Ohio -- April 20, 2023 -- Fluor-BWXT recently marked their 2,500 Facebook followers milestone by donating $2,500 to local charities in Pike, Scioto, Ross, and Jackson counties.
Pike County Pet Pals, The Southern Ohio Museum, Ross County Humane Society and Growing Oaks Food Program will each receive $625.
“The social media milestone was a great way for our company to share our appreciation by giving back to the community,” said FBP President and CEO Greg Wilkett. “FBP’s Community Commitment Fund plays a significant role in supporting so many deserving charities and this time we wanted to share that opportunity with our community by asking for their input.”
Each county was featured for a day and followers were asked to tag their favorite 501c3 charity in that county. The votes were tallied and verified to meet the Community Commitment guidelines.
