FBP Diversity Council Offers Inaugural Scholarship

February 16, 2023 -- The Fluor-BWXT Diversity Council is honored to offer their inaugural scholarship of $2,000 to two outstanding students in our community.

The Diversity Council is in its fifth year at PORTS and was created to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion on site, as well as connect the diverse work force at PORTS. The new scholarship program is a way to promote those same values and encourage educational opportunities.

“This new scholarship program is an extension of FBP’s commitment to our younger community members and to support their efforts to further their education,” said FBP President and CEO Greg Wilkett. “Our Diversity Council has done an excellent job over the past five years on site, and the scholarship is a great way to take that work into the community.”

Two scholarships will be awarded this year, applicants must reside in Pike, Ross, Scioto, or Jackson counties.

For details on application requirements, please go to and click on the Diversity Council Scholarship link under the Community tab. The deadline for submission is Friday, March 10.
