The Department of Energy holds quarterly public meetings to keep the community informed of air monitoring data and the progress of the D&D project. Virtual sessions have been held over the last two years to maintain safety protocols due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The interactive sessions allow the public to ask questions and learn more about the project and the measures being taken to put safety first and to protect human health and the environment in accordance with cleanup levels set and approved by DOE and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA).
