Susan Ison is a Nuclear Facility Co-Manager in the X-720. This March she will celebrate her 11th anniversary at the PORTS site.

Susan spends the week in Piketon, but on weekends calls Sunman, Indiana home. Her family is a big part of her life.

“I have 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren and I’ve always been involved in their extra-curricular activities,” said Sue. “I also like to have family dinners, take family vacations, and try to keep them all connected so we always have each other.”

What does she like about her job at PORTS?

“I have been in Waste Management for over 30 years, so taking this Nuclear Facility manager position was a big change for me. Old dogs can learn new tricks because I learn something new every day in this building… I love a good challenge! I have a huge one ahead of me and I’m up for it.”
