About

Robin Skeens is a Waste Data Tracking (eM-Waste)/Records Supervisor for Fluor-BWXT, with 25 years of service at the PORTS site. Chillicothe, Ohio, is her hometown and she resides in Vinton County.

"I have supported our local communities over the years by actively participating in United Way charities and fundraiser activities at work and in Ross/Pike counties. I am also an advocate for shopping and supporting our local small town businesses."

"Myself and my husband Kim built a log cabin in Vinton County from logs that were timbered out of Scioto Trails over 30 years ago. We have two daughters and have recently became first time grandparents."

What does she enjoy the most about her job at PORTS?

"The last 22 of the 25 years here on-site have been spent working in the Waste Tracking/Reporting (eMWaste) under Waste Management Programs. Waste Management has been a great organization to be a part of over the years and I have had the pleasure of working with some wonderful people. There are many different facets to this organization that allows you to be a part of a complete waste tracking process: From Waste Generation, Waste Characterization, to Waste Package Certification and Transportation."

"We are a team supporting each other to meet all of our site goals and commitments."

Fluor-BWXT was formed to specifically address the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Gaseous Diffusion Plant (GDP) Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) Project.

The team brings strong Ohio roots through 70 years of combined project management experience, and 125 years of manufacturing operations both in and outside of the nuclear field.

Combined, our companies have employed thousands of Ohioans across the state and have generated millions of dollars in revenues for Ohio companies and small businesses.
