Megan Parker is a Waste Management/Waste Disposition Specialist with Fluor-BWXT. The 13-year veteran of the site started her career as an intern in 2007.
The Ohio State University graduate majored in Transportation and Logistics Management, but holds a special distinction in the school’s history as she was the first person at OSU to graduate with a minor in Native American studies.
Megan and her husband Matt spend a lot of time at sporting events.
“Our daughter Drea plays travel and high school softball,” she says. “We are fans of the Waverly Tigers, OSU, and the Brownies! We also love to travel.”
“I like the challenge of the work. Every project is different in some sort of nature, which makes every day unique.”

Fluor-BWXT was formed to specifically address the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Gaseous Diffusion Plant (GDP) Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) Project.
The team brings strong Ohio roots through 70 years of combined project management experience, and 125 years of manufacturing operations both in and outside of the nuclear field.
Combined, our companies have employed thousands of Ohioans across the state and have generated millions of dollars in revenues for Ohio companies and small businesses.
