Josh Adams is a Project Manager, Control Account Manager and has been at the PORTS site for just over seven years. The Piketon native now calls Flatwoods, KY, home with his wife and two young sons.

In addition to his work on-site, Josh is in his 20th year of military service. He started out as an active duty enlisted Satellite Systems Operator in the Air Force Space Command, which is now officially known as Space Force. He then transferred to the Air National Guard while continuing his education at Marshall University. After finishing his graduate degree, he accepted a direct commission into the Army Reserve as an Environmental Science and Engineering Officer; but, his service career is not over.

“I was recently notified of my approved orders into the Army 2nd Space Battalion, where I will likely finish my uniformed service,” said Adams. “My duties there will take my military career full circle, and back into the world of space.”

In his free time, Josh and his wife enjoy supporting their sons in all their activities and like to volunteer as coaches with their local YMCA youth programs.
