Faren Barker is the manager for Records Management and Document Control and has been on the PORTS site for 12 years. The McDermott native now calls Londonderry home with her husband and their two young children.
In her spare time Faren enjoys backpacking, visiting wineries and glamping. She also is passionate about supporting the local community with her family.
“I enjoy supporting local businesses, from grabbing a meal, shopping for a gift, attending fundraisers, or watching live comedy,” said Faren. “It might not be much, but it’s important for me to do my part and keep our local area thriving.”
“I like the challenge of records the most. There isn’t a one size fits all when it comes to records, so I am constantly thinking on my feet and learning new things.”
