Elaine Rinehart is a Project Support Supervisor with Fluor-BWXT and has worked on site for 33 years.
She started her career in 1990 as a secretary for Martin Marietta and through the various companies’ Education Assistance programs over the years earned her Bachelor’s Degree and MBA while continuing her career on site.
Elaine and her husband Michael, who retired after 33 years as a security guard at PORTS, live in Beaver; but you will often find them traveling the world, from cruising the Caribbean to exploring Australia, Hawaii, or just a long weekend in their Florida home. When they are home, Elaine loves spending time with her three grandchildren and going to Ohio State football games.
Elaine is also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and holds a very special designation for her hometown- as being chosen the first Beaver Oktoberfest Queen in 1985.
“I have been very blessed to have worked on site for the past 33 years. I have worked for several different sub-contractors and have had many great mentors during my career. I have worked with so many great people over the years and I am proud to say that I work at the A-plant. Each and every day is different. My janitorial staff works hard to provide a clean environment for all the employees on site and the appreciation from the FBP team is remarkable.”

Fluor-BWXT was formed to specifically address the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Gaseous Diffusion Plant (GDP) Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) Project.
The team brings strong Ohio roots through 70 years of combined project management experience, and 125 years of manufacturing operations both in and outside of the nuclear field.
Combined, our companies have employed thousands of Ohioans across the state and have generated millions of dollars in revenues for Ohio companies and small businesses.
