She is the wife of a former fire chief, and all four of her grown children now work in public service positions where they live.  In her free time she enjoys painting and traveling, and volunteers with the Southern Ohio Domestic Violence Shelter and at her church where she is a board member, church extension President, co-coordinator for VBS craft program and the Food for the Soul Program.

“The Food for the Soul Program provides free community meals, holiday groceries for families, and other means of physical and spiritual encouragement,” she explained.

What do you enjoy most about your job and working here?

“I enjoy training employees on how to properly and safely wear their respiratory protection. I want the trainee to walk out of a training class understanding the use of the equipment and feeling comfortable and confident using such in the field.  I also enjoy my representational activities with USW and the P&T Unit as I enjoy helping others.”
