This August, Creshanna Williams will mark 32 years at the PORTS site. Creshanna is the local United Steel Workers Professional & Technical (P&T) unit President and Industrial Hygiene Associate.
The Wheelersburg resident has always worked in the public sector. She is the wife of a former fire chief, and all four of her grown children now work in public service positions where they live. In her free time she enjoys painting and traveling, and volunteers with the Southern Ohio Domestic Violence Shelter and at her church where she is a board member, church extension President, co-coordinator for VBS craft program and the Food for the Soul Program.
“The Food for the Soul Program provides free community meals, holiday groceries for families, and other means of physical and spiritual encouragement,” she explained.“I enjoy training employees on how to properly and safely wear their respiratory protection. I want the trainee to walk out of a training class understanding the use of the equipment and feeling comfortable and confident using such in the field. I also enjoy my representational activities with USW and the P&T Unit as I enjoy helping others.”
