About

Ashley Jordan is an Environmental Remediation/Integration Lead for Fluor-BWXT and has worked on the PORTS site for the past 11 years.

In addition to her work, Ashley is well known on the site and in the community for her dedication to helping others and her commitment to building stronger communities through her volunteer work with the many outreach and educational efforts through PORTS.

Ashley is a driving force in the Christmas Gifts for Children program, a year round effort to ensure thousands of children in our community receive presents at Christmas every year.

“There is nothing more satisfying than being humbled by the sincere, heartfelt thanks of families who need a little extra help during the holidays,” said Ashley.

This time of year Ashley is busy traveling to schools throughout Pike, Ross, Scioto and Jackson counties for the Department of Energy’s South Central Ohio Science Bowl and the STEAM Ahead program that encourages young students to take an interest in science and introduce them to new career opportunities.

“I love being a part of our small community and I am a huge advocate of bringing educational opportunities to our local students,” said Ashley.

In addition to her volunteer work, Ashley also works with students at Western Local Schools.

Ashley and her husband Chris have three children, Kyle, Hunter and Paisleigh, and this year they welcomed two foreign exchange students into their home.
