Kevin Napper is a Facility Maintenance Manager at Fluor-BWXT.

He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys camping with his family and kayak fishing. He also likes to spend lots of time with his nine grandchildren and recently got together with them and other family members to donate blankets to local nursing homes.

“It was really a good feeling watching the grandchildren giving the blankets out and the look of appreciation on the residents’ faces,” he said.

Kevin also stays active in Jackson’s Masonic Lodge and says, “Being involved in this fraternity has given me an opportunity to surround myself with some interesting and very wise men in the community.”

When he is not working at the PORTS site, he and his wife Robin own a small restoration business in Jackson.

“The crews are primarily performing restoration for families after a fire, water, or smoke damage,” he stated. “Getting folks back into their homes is very rewarding for all of us.”

What does Kevin like about his job at PORTS?

“I enjoy the challenges faced every day, from getting outside contractors lined up and working, or our inside craft, handling the deactivation and decommissioning in a safe, efficient way. The feeling of accomplishment seeing a project, from its conception to the finished product, is really satisfying.”
