Jason Montavon is a Systems Engineer with Fluor-BWXT. He actually started his career at the PORTS Site through FBP’s internship program, working as an intern for two years before graduating from Wright State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He and his wife Charli live in Otway.

Jason’s engineering background carries over into many of his hobbies.

“I enjoy buying and fixing anything that is junk and has a motor,” said Jason. “I spend a lot of time working on old farm equipment.”

Jason is also an avid outdoorsman and loves to hunt, fish and go off-road. He is also a member of the Otway Volunteer Fire Department and recently volunteered to join FBP’s  new STEAM Ahead science education program. Through this program, employees visit local schools and present science experiments and talk about their jobs with the students.
